If you don't see yours on the list, please call the office as new plans are added often, to our current contracts. We also accept private pay. Prior to scheduling your first therapy appointment you will talk with an Administrative Support Specialist and they will help you complete all of your documents in your very own client portal, answer all of your questions about billing and place you with the therapist that best fits your needs.

Your First Visit

At your first visit, you and your therapist will begin to establish the therapeutic alliance while discussing consent forms and completing an initial diagnostic assessment.

Your Second Visit

At your second visit you and your therapist will continue to build the therapeutic relationship while working to further identify your goals and establish an individualized treatment plan you both agree on.

Free Support Group

Who Facilitates Support Group?

The group is facilitated by a skilled Certified Peer Specialist who is experienced in creating a therapeutic environment and has been successful in the recovery process.

What Do We Do in the Support Group ?

Your team is ready with a blend of psychoeducation, process work, skill building, group discussion, journaling, self-compassion techniques and action planning for prevention and recovery using various treatment modalities such as DBT, CBT, and mindfulness to support your goals.

Why You Should Try the Support Group?

Looking to jump start your personal growth, gain new perspectives, find your safe space, or just need a sounding board? Our Dual Diagnosis support groups are for anyone with a mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis. Support Groups can be effective as standalone or paired with individual therapy. For some, adding a weekly support group as part of their treatment plan can increase positive outcomes in therapy. In other words, you will feel better faster!

Where Do We Meet?

Group will meet at our office on the the Square in Independence, Missouri. Space is limited so please call ahead at 816-381-7690 to reserve your spot.

When Do We Meet?

This supportive open group meets twice a week on Wednesday from 1- 2:30 and 6:00-7:30 pm. Group size will be 12 or under plus the group facilitators.
